 High speed scanning
 The fast scanning speed offers improved office efficiency.
 The strong and durable paper feed mechanism generates minimal noise when feeding paper. This low noise level: 54 dB or less (previous model: 57 dB) contributes to a more comfortable office environment.
 Superior image quality
 Optimal image quality allows precise extraction of content and therefore reliable exploitation of information in information systems.

 The high performance image sensor (3 line CIS) provides high quality scanned images, superior to those obtained with a 1 line CIS sensor. Panasonic has incorporated its unique image processing and fine-tuning technology to improve character extraction and background whitening. The high quality of the scanned images enables higher OCR precision and better barcode recognition, thus helping to improve user productivity.
 Intelligent dual feed detection
 The unit memorizes the positions and sizes of the sheets of paper (up to 8) affixed to the original, the user can deactivate the double feed detection only for the memorized part. This allows easier scanning of invoices or other documents with bar codes.
 Less maintenance
 The scanner glass has a conductive coating that
 prevents the build-up of static electricity. Paper dust loses its adherence to the scanner glass. As a result, scanning errors are reduced and the cleaning cycle can be lengthened.
